I'd time-traveled, and become the CEO's… younger sister.
Right now, I was happily admiring an eight-million-dollar necklace, a gift from my brother's fiancée. The next second, my good-for-nothing brother brought home some girl from the wrong side of the tracks, claiming she was his true love.

"I object!" I roared, standing up.
My dad, who was about to explode, froze, along with everyone else, staring at me.
"Bro, how could you?!"
I rushed over to the lovebirds, looking at their clasped hands, my voice full of anguish, "Such a big deal, and you didn't even tell the family first? You had to announce it right in front of both sets of parents?!"
"Dad always taught us to know our place, to be tactful. Look at you now, making it seem like you're forcing everyone's hand. What kind of behavior is this?!"
My dad's expression gradually softened as he listened, nodding at me approvingly.
My brother, Mr. CEO, never expected such a lecture from his usually clueless sister. He stood there, stunned, his face red with shame.
I sighed, putting my hands behind my back, adding earnestly, "Besides, choosing such an informal setting, you're not only embarrassing yourself but also showing a lack of respect for this lady here!"
My brother, the CEO, went from complete confidence to utter shame. He hung his head, stammering an apology, "This… I really didn't think it through. I'm sorry."
With that, the two of them awkwardly left, hand in hand.
I turned, put my sweet smile back on, and sat obediently next to my brother's fiancée, Jessica Miller.
"Jessica, don't mind them. Tell me more about your time studying in Germany."
Jessica smiled shyly and continued our conversation. Meanwhile, my dad pulled Mr. Miller aside to discuss something.

I thought after yesterday's incident, my brother would tone it down. I was wrong.
Bright and early, the girl from the wrong side of the tracks appeared in our living room again. And if I wasn't mistaken, she was holding... a filthy duck?!
My eyes widened. I slid down the banister, reaching out my hand like someone from a soap opera yelling "Noooo!"
As if deliberately defying me, the darn duck jumped onto my custom-made chaise lounge, leaving muddy duck prints all over the cushion! Too late!
I stood there, glaring at it, my fists clenching. That chaise lounge was made from royal Belgian fabric, specially imported by my dad. To avoid wrinkles, I only allowed myself to sit on it for an hour a day. Now it reeked of duck!
"Splat."
A demonic sound shattered my last hope. It dared to poop on it!!! I was going to kill it!
Sensing my murderous intent, Chloe Smith quickly shielded the duck, looking at me warily.
I suppressed my rage, gritting my teeth, "Ms. Smith, do you have any idea how expensive that thing you just soiled is?"
Chloe stuck her chin out, unapologetic. "Sorry! I'll get a job and pay you back. You can yell at me, but don't hurt it!"
I was stunned. How could someone be so righteous while apologizing?!
