I pursued Leo Shelton for three years, and he finally agreed to marry me.
But on our wedding day, he abandoned me to chase after his unattainable love, Ruby Watts.
Then, because of Ruby's false accusations, he had me committed to a mental institution.
While I endured unimaginable torment in that place, Leo and his Ruby were out enjoying life.
...
By the time he remembered to bring me home, I had already lost my mind.
Later, Leo knelt on the ground, crying and begging me, "Sara, please, look at me! It's me, Leo!"
I sneered and asked him, "Who is Sara?"

"726, someone's here to take you out," the paramedic shouted from the doorway.
Like a puppet on strings, I stood up and slowly followed the paramedic toward the exit.
Just before we reached the door, he pressed an electric prod into my lower back, whispering a threat, "Once you're out, keep your mouth shut. Otherwise, we have ways of bringing you back here. Got it?"
A shiver ran down my spine, and I quickly replied, "I won't say anything!"
The paramedic impatiently pinched my face, forcing me to smile. "Now, smile!"
I forced a smile, my lips curving into a perfect arc, and looked up to see Leo.
He was leaning against the car, smoking with his head down.
When he saw me approach, he stubbed out his cigarette, opened the car door, and ordered, "Get in."
Terrified, I bowed my head and thanked him, "Thank you, Mr. Shelton!" before I got into the car.
Leo blocked the door, frowning as he asked, "What did you just call me?"
Seeing his frown, my voice trembled, "M-Mr. Shelton."
Leo's lips curled into a mocking smile. "Six months in that place, and now you've learned some manners?"
I opened my mouth in confusion, then shut it in pain.
I didn't dare call him by his name again.
On my first day inside, some patients tried to escape. They were caught and taken to the isolation room, and the paramedic dragged me along to watch as a "lesson."
I saw electrodes being attached to their heads, and a paramedic pressed the switch to deliver the electric shocks.
The room filled with agonizing screams.
I watched their faces contort in pain and saw their pants become soaked as they lost control.
Terrified, I screamed and tried to run, shouting, "Leo!"
Two paramedics pinned me down, forcing me to my knees. The director walked up to me and sneered, "Who do you think you are, calling Mr. Shelton by such a familiar name?"
"I'm his wife! Why shouldn't I call him Leo?" I shot back, still defiant.
Back then, I didn't understand the danger I was in. I didn't know that resisting would only make things worse.
The director, who bore an unsettling resemblance to Ruby, smiled coldly and pressed the electric prod to my back.
"Mr. Shelton and my sister were meant to be together. You, a home-wrecking mistress, are nothing!"
I've lost count of how many times I was shocked that day. My body trembled, convulsed, and screamed until I was too numb to feel anything anymore.
Over and over, I repeated the words mechanically.
"I'm the other ...
